HomeBeacon is an SMS-based AI home repair assistant operated by iPal Media Inc. By texting HomeBeacon, you agree to these terms.
Not a Substitute for Professional Inspection
HomeBeacon's diagnoses are AI-generated based on the photos and descriptions you provide. They are not a substitute for a professional inspection by a licensed contractor, inspector, or engineer. For structural issues, electrical problems, gas leaks, or any situation involving safety risk, always consult a qualified professional before taking action.
Emergencies — Call 911
HomeBeacon is not an emergency service. If you have a gas leak, fire, flooding that poses immediate risk, or any other emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not text HomeBeacon in an emergency.
Accuracy of Diagnoses
AI diagnoses are based on visual analysis and may be incomplete or incorrect. HomeBeacon is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from acting on a diagnosis. Prices, conditions, and circumstances can vary significantly. Always verify the situation in person before beginning any repair work.
Contractor Recommendations
Contractor listings are sourced from Google Places and are provided as a convenience only. HomeBeacon does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality, licensing, or availability of any contractor. You are solely responsible for verifying credentials and negotiating terms before hiring anyone.
DIY Instructions
DIY guidance provided by HomeBeacon is general in nature and may not account for local building codes, specific materials, or your home's unique conditions. Always follow manufacturer instructions and local regulations. If in doubt, hire a professional.

By using HomeBeacon, you consent to receive SMS messages from us. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Text HELP for support.
Acceptable Use
Don't use HomeBeacon for anything illegal, harmful, or that violates others' rights. Don't submit automated or bulk requests. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the service.
Service Availability
HomeBeacon is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantees about uptime, diagnosis accuracy, or contractor availability. Service depends on third-party AI and mapping services outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
HomeBeacon is provided “as is.” iPal Media Inc is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from acting on AI-generated diagnoses or contractor recommendations. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $10.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
